Breakout Rooms
Using Breakout Rooms
The breakout room feature allows you to place participants into smaller breakout rooms for a portion of your meeting. You as the host can join each of the rooms. Zoom features allow participants in breakout rooms to ask for your help, or send you a chat message; unlike a physical meeting, you won't be able to send participants nonverbal cues to let them know how long they might expect to wait for your response. With this in mind, you might start with very short and directed breakout room sessions while you and your participants all learn together how best to use this feature.
