CPR Card - American Heart Association BLS Provider

Due Date: Week 2

What Is It

  • Must be American Heart Association, NOT American Red Cross 
  • Must be the BLS Healthcare Provider classroom course
    • Includes adult, child, and infant CPR and AED, and adult, child, and infant choking, plus skills
    • Card must be valid through the end of the course

Where To Get It

  1. Find a training center in your area Links to an external site. by typing in your Zip Code and clicking "Find a Class"
  2. Select a BLS Provider Course, In-Person or Hybrid
    1. Skills must be done in person!
  3. Create an account and pay - costs vary, but are usually around $90 including the textbook
  4. After the course, submit a copy of your card with Checklist 3; DO NOT submit your original card!!
  5. You will be tested on this material in Week 2 of the course
